I AM THE March 2015 Winner - Best Song: Rap/Spoken Word
WOWZERZ!!!!
I knew that one day I would be awarded for the music I put out, but I thought It would start at a later time in this music venture. To receiving an email straight out of L.A. in regards to telling me I was nominated; that alone was a great feeling for me, but to get the news TODAY 03/15/15 congratulating me on having the BEST SONG in Rap/Spoken Word is amazing for me and gives me the drive to push harder in the music industry.
Me having my own genre "Reality Music" and my own style is not the only thing separating me from the rest, but the type of instrumentals or content that I bring to the table are things that people may have scraped the surface on, but I take it from a different angle where I would go into depth on certain subjects that touch the heart.
With album 2 almost completed and a few more award shows to attend, I can proudly say that I am headed in the right direction.
Much love Akademia for showing me so much love and I will certainly be back to capitalize over the many contestants who have entered WORLDWIDE.
